Terms and Conditions for Blu Users

Welcome to Blu! By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Introduction
1.1. Blu is a platform that connects users with service providers (workers) for various blue-collar tasks.
1.2. Blu does not employ workers directly but facilitates connections between users and workers.
2. User Eligibility
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use Blu.
2.2. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
2.3. Blu reserves the right to verify your identity and reject or suspend accounts that provide false information.
2.4. To verify your account, a unique verification code will be sent to the email address you provide during registration. Your email must be successfully verified to activate your account.
3. Payment and Transactions
3.1. All payments must be made in cash only, and only after the task is completed.
3.2. If the task turns out to be more complex than described, the provider or worker may request additional charges. These must be clearly communicated and agreed upon before the task is completed.
3.3. Blu is not responsible for any disputes, losses, or disagreements related to cash payments made directly between users and providers.
4. Booking and Cancellations
4.1. Users can select a service and then choose a suitable provider from the list available.
4.2. Users must describe the task clearly when making a request.
4.3. Once a request is sent to a provider, the provider has the right to accept or reject it.
4.4. If accepted, the provider will assign a handyman to complete the task, or, in the case of a freelancer, they will carry it out themselves.
4.5. Users may cancel a confirmed booking; however, this may result in certain penalties, depending on the timing and nature of the cancellation.
5. Conduct and Responsibilities
5.1. Users must treat workers with respect and provide a safe working environment.
5.2. Users are prohibited from soliciting workers for jobs outside of Blu without prior written consent.
5.3. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will result in immediate account termination.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1. Blu does not handle disputes related to cash transactions. All concerns must be resolved directly between the user and the worker or provider.
6.2. Blu may offer guidance in resolving disputes but is not obligated to mediate or enforce outcomes.
7. Account Suspension and Termination
7.1. Blu reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions.
7.2. Users may deactivate their accounts at any time through the account settings section of the app.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Blu acts solely as a facilitator and is not liable for any damages, claims, injuries, or losses that may occur during the delivery of services.
8.2. Blu is not responsible for any actions, misconduct, or damages caused by service providers.
8.3. In cases where a service provider is part of a registered company, that company shall be held responsible for any damages or liabilities arising from its workers’ actions.
8.4. Users accept all risks associated with hiring a worker through the platform.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1. Blu collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
9.2. User data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or to improve the quality and security of our services.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1. Blu reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
10.2. Continued use of Blu after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Refund Policy
11.1. Cash Payments

All payments must be made in cash only, and only after the task has been completed—unless an advance payment is specifically requested through the app.

If you pay a worker in cash, Blu is not responsible for any disputes, refunds, or issues related to the payment. These must be resolved directly with the worker or provider.
11.2. Service Adjustments & Additional Charges

If the task is more complex or time-consuming than initially described, the service provider (handyman or company) has the right to request additional charges.

These charges must be clearly communicated and agreed upon before the task is completed.

Payment for these additional charges should also be made in cash and only after the task is completed.
11.3. Service Quality & Liability

Blu is not liable for the quality of services provided.

Blu is not responsible for any damages, losses, or harm caused by service providers.

Responsibility lies solely with the provider or company delivering the service.

Users hire workers at their own discretion and assume all associated risks.
By using Blu, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use Blu.

Welcome to Blu! By registering as a worker on our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Introduction
1.1. Blu is a platform that connects workers with users seeking services.
1.2. Blu does not employ workers but provides a marketplace for job opportunities.
2. Worker Eligibility
2.1. Workers must be at least 18 years old.
2.2. Workers must provide accurate and verifiable identity details during registration.
2.3. Blu reserves the right to verify worker credentials and suspend accounts with false information.
3. Subscription and Account Access
3.1. Workers are required to pay a monthly subscription fee to maintain access to their Blu account.
3.2. Without an active subscription, workers will not be able to use the platform.
3.3. Blu does not charge any commission on earnings made through the platform.
3.4. Subscription fees are non-refundable and must be paid on time to avoid account suspension.
4. Payment and Earnings
4.1. All payments must be made in cash only, directly from the user to the worker after the task is completed—unless an advance payment is specifically arranged through the app.
4.2. Blu does not process any digital or online payments on behalf of workers.
4.3. Blu is not responsible for any disputes, delays, or issues related to cash payments. Workers must ensure clear communication with users regarding charges before and after the job.
5. Conduct and Responsibilities
5.1. Workers must provide professional and reliable services.
5.2. Workers must adhere to safety and ethical work practices.
5.3. Workers must not engage in fraudulent activities or solicit payments outside the agreed terms.
5.4. Workers must respect users and avoid misconduct or harassment.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1. Blu may assist in resolving issues related to service performance, but is not responsible for disputes regarding cash payments between users and workers.
6.2. Blu is not responsible for personal disputes between workers and users.
7. Account Suspension and Termination
7.1. Blu reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misconduct, fraud, or violation of these terms.
7.2. Accounts with unpaid subscription fees will be deactivated until payment is made.
7.3. Workers can deactivate their accounts at any time through account settings.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Blu is not responsible for any injuries, claims, damages, losses or liabilities incurred while performing a job.
8.2. Workers agree to assume all risks associated with their services.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1. Blu collects and processes worker data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
9.2. Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or for service improvement.
10. Changes to Terms
